Mac Lauren - Biography
Mac Lauren is a singer/songwriter from Hobart, Tasmania. Fiercely independent, he presents a view of the world that is gentle but firm, where love is paramount and truth is essential. Having chosen to attend the university of life, he has arrived at a place where he considers his music ready for public consumption; that the lessons learned are ready to share and that his lone voice might offer something of value to someone else. Even if only at the level of simply enjoying listening to music.

Mac began writing music in his teenage years. Taking the long route to a music career he worked as an electrician, travelled around Australia on a home-built motorbike, wintered in Antarctica, and designed & built green power units for use in remote, wild places. Passionate for alternative energy he has also designed and built a passive-solar home and studio.
